Thank you to everyone who attended the kick-off of the Age-Friendly walking project in Mattapan. The Elderly Commission is partnering with Walk Boston to study three neighborhoods: Mattapan Square, South End (Mass Ave corridor), and East Boston. Tufts Health Plan Foundation is funding WalkBoston to work with the city on this important project.
WalkBoston organized the event, with help from the Mattapan ABCD. We will be walking the study area on Tuesday, July 26th. Walk starts at 10:00 from the Mattapan ABCD on River Street. Please join us! For more information, call Andrea Burns at 617-635-4877.
